When covering the problems of high article-processing charges (APCs) for open access articles, and NIH plans to limit how much grantees can pay for these APCs, a Science article neglected to talk about one of the solutions to this conundrum; low-cost community-run journals (CRJs) like LiveCoMS! Our letter to the editors of Science pointing out the advantages of CRJs was, alas, rejected. You can read it here instead.
